Pushy Petunias

Every spring I look forward to planting my flowers. It's the best money I spend all summer! I get a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction out of watching them grow and this year has been amazing!

For mothers day Jeremy made me two window boxes. A tiny little Avenues cottage just wouldn't be complete without them. Then in early April we bought some little petunia's, geraniums, bacopa, and a few other plants at great deals...most were 3 for $1. For a month and a half I would wheel them out to the driveway during the day and then back into the garage at night so they'd survive the cold until it was time to plant.

Now those tiny little petunia plants have crowded out almost everything else and are about to take over the whole house! They sure are pretty though! This little video clip shows their progression from Mothers day to June 30.

And we also planted a veggie garden in the back which has been a lot of fun! Our tomatoes are growing really well and we'll have more than we can eat so when they are ripe, come over and get some!
